Chest tightness
Chest tightness is scary — but often it's muscle strain, reflux, or anxiety.
When it's usually nothing
- You can point to the exact spot with a finger.
- It changes with breathing, movement, or pressing on the area.
- It came after coughing, lifting, a big meal, or a wave of stress.
When to get checked
- Crushing pressure, especially with sweat, nausea, or arm/jaw pain.
- Sudden shortness of breath that won't ease.
- You feel faint, or your heart is racing and won't slow.
Take a breath. Let's figure this out together.
