Rash

Most rashes are irritation or a mild allergy that fades in days.

When it's usually nothing
  • Itchy, red patches after a new soap, plant, food, or medication.
  • Fades with a mild cortisone cream, oatmeal bath, or antihistamine.
  • No fever and you feel otherwise fine.
When to get checked
  • Rash + fever, or spots that don't fade when pressed.
  • Swelling of face/lips/tongue, or trouble breathing.
  • Rapid spread, blisters, or intense pain.

Take a breath. Let's figure this out together.
